Semester 1
In Semester 1 of Public Relations and Media, each student applied for a job. Interested in BACS' social media pages and writing, I obtained a job incorporating both aspects. Aside from raising Blackstone's followers/friends on the Twitter and Facebook pages and writing small blurbs for each, I also helped promote the Tidewater Campaign meeting and the Parent Round Table Meeting held at Blackstone.
In early January, the new Blackstone website (http://www.blackstoneacademy.org/) was launched and while it may have been a huge update from BACS' last website, there was still lots of improving needed to be done. To determine any mistakes within the website, I worked with a partner to critique the page, giving our honest feedback about each page while doing so.

Semester 2
In Semester 2, the majority of classtime was devoted to working on Blackstone's Student Website; https://sites.google.com/a/blackstoneacademy.org/bacsstudents/?pli=1. The website can only be accessed by students using a BACS email account, making it a perfect place to display all information a student at Blackstone needs to be successful at BACS. Throughout Semester 2, I worked on the "Fun Stuff" page to display photos taken at BACS events and to make intriguing contests for students, such as the "Photo of the Day Contest," (as shown below).
